for his wife's behavior!

This follows up to my other post about my neighbors and music. Not the people who had music blasting at 8:30am and prompted me to make my other post after complaining to our park management. This is the people from the night before.

I took a nap today while DH was installing his new satellite radio in the car. Afterward he told me that our neighbor started chatting with him and asked if we heard music the other night. DH told him that I had heard something and wondered what was going on. He told DH that his wife had been drinking and wouldn't settle down...so he called the cops on her! That is the husband called the cops on his own wife!!!

He also told DH that she was sitting in the car drinking with it running when the cops came! She had to be totally smashed to do something like that.

This woman has been in drug rehab before and I work in the same building as another neighbor who has said that her son got hooked on drugs while at their house. The husband is quite a bit older than his wife and not in the best health. I know a few years back he had a pacemaker put in. They have 2 teenage daughters, one mows our lawn a lot in the summertime. The wife is quiet outside her house (for the most part!
) but the man is always helping neighbors and things. The lady directly next to him is a single mom and DH has helped him fix plumbing problems and her house and what not. He's also helped us when we were building our deck and what not. Even checked to see how I was doing during DH's deployments.

I don't know quite what to make of it all, but from appearances, they seem like such an odd couple. I just hope and pray his wife comes to realize her problems and willingly seek help.

Most people don't change but they do eventually realise or "Accept" who they are.

Most likely she won't appreciate him until he's gone. Then she'll just find someone else who will take care of her.

Unfortunatley, that seems like it may be the case here... It seems both a shame and peculiar to see them.
