Have you ever fallen down in public, such as on a sidewalk or in a parking lot?
More times than I care to admit. One time- which was probably the worse fall of my life- I was in middle school and upstairs at my church....we were leaving our sunday school room and heading downstairs when my little "boyfriend" at the time decided to tease me and run down the stairs full speed with my purse....me being a little track/cross country runner at the time- i knew i was faster then him, so i just headed off down the stairs as fast as i could to catch him.....completly oblivious to the fact that I had on a long skirt and high heels
.....so yeah...I tripped and fell two stories down...the stairs in the entry way to my church are massive ceramic concrete layered in tile( I go to the second largest on in Memphis- it has several thousand members). I fell all the way down them and cracked my tailbone on the bottom step. At about that point in time- the first service was letting out (there are two services)...so of course EVERYONE saw me fall. This little old deacon came over (after i had already hit the last step
) and said "I got you honey" with his arms all stretched out. I was like uhhhh...thankyou, but i think it's a little late...at that point i was crying and in a ton of pain. They had to take me to the ER...and that little fall costed me several months in physical therapy as well as permenant arthritious in that spot of my back...it always gets achy when it rains. So yea...i've fallen in public....but that's just only one example
stairs and I do not get along well
Have you ever had surgery? What for?
