Pearl got her first taste of not getting her own way...

and she did not like it at all. She has been way more sociable lately, and the other cats are trying to be friends and include her in their play. They have been very sweet to her, and she is staying on the bed when the rest of them are there. Last night she was snuggling next to me, Pepper walked by her, sniffed her head briefly, and Pearl growled and swatted at her. I figured it was about time she learned she had to be nice, too, so I moved her and told her "no growling." She came back to the spot, but there was no more growling. She even let Scooter snuggle tail to tail with her. Finally, some progress with the others and she is only 6.5 years old. I hope it continues. It sure would be nice to have complete feline harmony for once.

that sounds like good for you. I keep having a problem like that. Except for they are nice for like a week and then bamm.. swat....grrr
