Some miserable human being ran over her back half and didnt stop. She crawled under the house and i climbed under and got her. I was driven to the vet holding her down in a box. The vet said it was possible to save her but she wouldn't be able to walk very well, as both back legs were shattered. I thought that would be too unfair on her as she was very active, so I made the decision to have her put to sleep. I miss her very much as we only had her for 8months.

I am so sorry for your loss, what a darling she was and to loose her after such a short time. I know that your Heart is broken.

Condolences on your tragic loss of Sophie. I am so sorry that she had to suffer that way, but you put an end to her misery, even though it meant causing you deep pain in your heart. Such tragedy -you had such a short time with her
I am glad that in her short life she was privileged to have a loving family in a real home. If it is true what some of our ancestors believe, then those who are yet to be born are over RB with those who have passed, and right now dear Sophie is telling some future kitten all about you; when that cat comes into your life, it will eerily seem like Sophie is back again. Joey was born shortly after my Miss Tobie passed, and the resemblances are uncanny.

So very sorry for your loss. I lost my Bam-Bam on the 13th Jan 2007. I know the pain but the happy memories help to heal. Little Sophie will be with all new friends at Rainbow Bridge - she will be healed and is playing happily watching over you until one day you meet again. From the UK I send you a big hug and kiss.
