I guess he didn't learn

Guess what Puff just did. Hubby was taking Lasagna out of the oven. Guess who stuck his nose on the door..yep you guessed it. He's OK. Didn't touch it enough to do any damage. Were going to really have to watch him every time we open that door though because he's going to get hurt bad one of these days if he doesn't learn not to touch it.

I am always afraid that one of my kitties will do this. They are sooo interested in the oven. Or maybe it is just food.

Yesterday i had the hot water runnign to do the dishes and guess who stuck her nose under it and howled?

YES kaylee! i hope she learnt her lesson when i tell her NO! not yet!

Poor Puff!!

They can learn. We used to have a free standing wood burning stove in our last house (looked like a pot bellied fireplace with a flat top). We used to really reprimand any cat that jumped on it, regardless if it was in use or not. Stumpy jumped up on it once when it was in full blaze and burned all 4 paws. He never once jumped on it again. It's a bad lesson to learn but they get so curious at times.

Unfortunately I don't think it's curiosity driving him to do this. It must go back to his feral mom because he acts like he's starving. But of course he's not. He's the fattest cat I've ever had actually. HM.. fat cat tries to get lazanga... Garfield reincarnated?? lol.

Because they truly are our fur babies and they like to worry their mommies.
