I received this picture frame ornament from a dear friend and wanted to share it with all of you. her name and dates are hand painted on the frame and I added the picture to it. She didn't know the exact dates, only knew Alley was 9 so just had them put the years, but I love it and will hang it on my christmas tree every year. its made to stand like a regular frame also, so I'll have it sitting on the shelf the rest of the year so I can see it every day. I can't believe it has been almost 3 weeks since Alley has been gone. I cry like a baby when I think of her still. I miss her so much. I would give anything just to hold her one more time. To think that I'll never hear her little meow again is heartbreaking.

That is a very sweet present. It celebrates Alley's life. You can remember her when she was in her prime.

I have a photo of my late dog on the dresser in a mischevious pose that I always remember her in. I don't want to remember her when she was old and deaf and sick and this keeps her forever young and in my thoughts.
The little frame even has 'dog bones' around it.

Enjoy your present. Your friend is very considerate.

What a beauitful gift, and your friend is a very good friend. A true friend knows just excatly how you are feeling right now, and she did the best thing that a friend could do.

It has been three weeks today. I'm sitting here in tears, wondering if I can ever wake up on a saturday morning and not relate it to the day she died. I miss her so much.
