So everyone is tolerating everyone else. Sephie and Isis are big grumblers. Isis towards everyone else except humans and Sephie towards Isis. Gabriel is trying to be friends and get close to Isis but she grumbles, low growls and then eventually swats at him and he goes off.
Sephie just grumbles everytime he sees her. I was reading another thread and started acting like the alpha when I'm around but I feel so bad when I have to hiss at Sephie. i do tell him to be nice when I know he is watching her but if he keeps it up, i tell him i'm not pleased.
I've been spending a lot of time with the boys, especially the grumpy sephie to make sure that he knows that i'm still his baby and i love him.
I told Isis that just because she is sick doesn't give her the right to act ugly towards the boys.
On the up side, little Orion who was not socialized when we got him 2 months ago has started being a lap kitten, his fur is growing long and he is just cute as a button.

Am I doing the wrong thing? What am i supposed to do when they are getting all growly at each other?

Cats can sense your insecurity. A big no-no in keeping your alpha status. Hissing is okay. Cats do not get offended by it so you do not have to feel bad at all.

Agree with above, also if one of your kitties is sick, this makes more difference then most think! There is a different scent and it can cause unease among the others who are already family, a new kit may become a target of agression or even sometimes affection.....
