As you may have heard me mention previously (about a million times!
) I'm getting a new kitten. His name is Ares and he's a beautiful brown marbled tabby bengal. He was supposed to come home last week, but he's flying to us, and due to the holidays, all the flights were overbooked. So he is scheduled to come home tomorrow. My breeder is sending updated pics to me today, but she's been having trouble with her e-mail, so I may have him home by the time I get the pics. Either way, I'll have new pics posted no later than tomorrow evening.

In the meantime, to ease the 'bengalust' some of you may be having lately
, I'm posting links to some of the cats in Ares' pedigree. He actually has a pretty impressive lineage.

This is his grandsire on moms side: QGC/Supreme Roll of Honor, Best ACFA Bengal: Chloes Painted Spirit of Adventure Beach

Here's his granddam on moms side: RW Triple Grand Champion Goldspurr's Tir Na Nog

Grandsire on dads side: Double Grand Champion Goldspurr's Rambo

Heres dad:

And here's mom:

OK, now on with your regularly scheduled program!

I'm glad you all made it home safely and uneventfully! You must be so excited! I'm glad he's playing already too.

*sigh*

No Ares today. Probably not tomorrow either, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I spoke with the guy at Skywest and he said there was an available flight out on Saturday, but you can only book 24 hours in advance.

Wish us luck that we get Ares home soon!

luck getting that sweet baby Ares home whishing here

I had a lot of problems come up getting Smudge to kluchetta (she is on this site and bought one of my kittens) It ended up taken me another month then I was supposed to, my DH broke down on the way to the air port (I live in maine, the air line I used continental doesn't ship out of maine so we had to drive 4 hours or so to get him on the plane in boston) I also was in a car accident and totaled my car, ect. I am glad you are being patient, it isn't your breeders fault like it was mine, but it still makes us worry about the new owner getting upset, ect. Thankfully kluchetta was very patient and I did get him out. I didn't know you can only book 24 hours in advanve, who is the breeder using? Or is it just because of the time of year? I hope saturdays the day!

Stacy, my breeder, is doing everything she can. I know its not her fault. She's in Montana, and the only airline she can use is Skywest, who operate under Delta and they have very limited options going out of Helena.

She's gonna call first thing tomorrow morning to book the Saturday flight. I've got all toes, fingers and paws crossed over here... even an occasional crossed eye (Duke focuses HARD when he plays!)LOL!

Patience is a virtue! Plus, it'll all be worth it when our baby gets home!

Thanks!

I didn't mean it was her fault, she can't controll the airlines
I was saying that it wasn't her fault being delayed, like it was my fault. It was completely my fault I couldn't get Smudge out, even though things came up that I couldn't help, it wasn't that I couldn't get him on a flight, is all, just glad to see you are being patient and with her too. I am crossing every thing her for you too

LOL! I didn't mean to imply that you meant to imply that it was her fault! I was just agreeing with you.

Communicating over the internet is tricky sometimes!

Thanks to you to Kluchetta!

Wow, this has to be hard waiting to get that baby. I'm praying that everything goes well for Saturday. If you could please do me the biggest favor tiffanyjbt--when you get him could you please give him a big hug for me?!?
I've got to stop writing so that I can look at his pics some more.

Of course I'll give him a big hug from you! In fact, I'll start a list!

It is hard waiting, but it is what it is. I'm a relatively patient person...

Oh yeah, I have a secret too and the pics give a clue...

o.k. so I'm not going to get an immediate answer.
Is this a wait until Saturday secret?!? That's alright. I'm just going to step away from the computer

Well... I was trying to give a few other people a chance to guess, but since you can't wait 15 minutes...

Yes, I'm bringing them both home!

Thats Ares in the first two pics. Ares and his sister Dreamer in the second two pics and just Dreamer in the last pic.

I'm terrible at keeping secrets anyway!
