I don't offhand, but what I DO know is that if they ask YOU for money, it is a scam and won't EARN you anything. If no money is required up front, i.e., registration fee, materials fee, etc, then it might be worth it to check it out.
By participating in online surveys, you are simply opening the doors to receiving all kinds of spam messages. I'd be REALLY careful about this, even if there is a money offer.

That's what I've seen. I'm VERY leary about any of those.
I agree about the scam and junk mail stuff.
So far as jobs that you can do from home.... How about looking into the following with some companies in your home town / city:
- Typing
- Telephone Soliciting for magazine / news paper sales
- Telephone Soliciting to book appointments for sales people IE: Insurance sales people, vacuum sales people etc.
- Child Care
You do really well with the yard sale shopping. Why not turn it into a business? Buy nice things at yard sales really cheap as you have done and sell them on eBay for much more. Loads of money to be made doing that.

I do surveys for Pinecone Research. They are very very reputable and pay $5.00 per survey you do for them. Joining is very hard as you have to find banner ads that they place randomly. Every now and then they will send out an email asking their current members to forward the email to friends and family. Its been a few months since I have seen one of these emails. I have been a member of Pinecone Research for about 4 years now. They are very very reputable and no spam attached. Same with Harris Poll online. I have been a member with them for about 8 years and love it. You earn points that you can cash in for prizes. Not cheapo prizes either good nice ones. No spam with them either.
I also have earned money with Greenfield online. Its not easy to earn money with them but i have cashed out once per year for each year I have been a member for about $35-60 per year. They send a lot of surveys most are just sweepstakes entries. Hard to get a good paying survey from them but they do come along. Ive been a member of Greenfield for about 6 years now.
You can also mystery shop (yes its a real profession) but dont think you will get rich or even get money quick. The turn around on payment is 45-60 days after submitting an assignment. This is all based on if you are good with grammar, and following instructions. Dont pay to get into mystery shopping. The pay to join are scams. Its independent contractor work (except for 2 or 3 companies) and can be real competitive to get assignments depending on your area. You must be willing to travel sometimes. I did mystery shopping for 3 years along with merchandising and made upwards of 50K/year the last 2 years. I still merchandise and mystery shop on occasion but since we moved to Texas, I really dont have a whole lot of spare time like I did in Mississippi. I still get offers from recruiters and schedulers who have heard about my work in Mississippi and they learned I moved to Texas. Both of these jobs (merch & mystery shopping) have their ups and downs and their slow times.
Other than that, I havent found any legit stay at home things like typing or stuff like that.
