(s)he came when I rattled a bowl last night and allowed me to stay on the ladder quite close while enjoying a meal. The colour is pale grey tabby with a white bib. I couldn't tell the gender though - (s)he kept facing me all the time and is keeping up on top of these huge 10 feet tall cider barrels. I have revised my age estimate downwards - I think closer to 12 weeks. But no signs or sounds of any others, so it is strange as to where it came from.

She was there tonight, waiting for me (and she IS a she, I am sure now as the torch got a good look at her rear end!). She heard me with Maisie and started to meow and there this little face was, waiting for her supper. She didn't like me shining the torch at her, but started to eat as soon as I turned it away. So it looks like she is going to stick around, which is great. (Mods, do you want to move this thread now? I don't mind)

I think animals just having a way of finding a place to live.

Opie (our dog) found our home 4 years ago on Christmas eve morning. It was raining and cold and I went outside and he was in our bag yard standing in a bunch of water.

It took me almost 2 hours to get him to come under the carport. And we think he had been abused by a man because right at first, my husband couldn't get near him without Opie freaking out.

Now Opie and my husband are good friends.

I think they just know if people are animal people or not.
