I had my face glued to my computer monitor all that morning working on a business plan, and popped over to The Cat Site for a couple of minutes on a break. At that point, all it was, was a plane crash, so I didn't rush to the TV or anything. I looked at a few more posts and then headed downstairs for a snack, flipping on CNN to see what was going on.

I got there just in time to see the second tower fall... wow... what a day, what a year...

There are no TVs in my office and I couldn't connect to the computer sites for NPR or other news radio stations that morning (I guess they were all jammed with too many hits), so I got almost all of my news for the entire day from TCS. It was such a scary day.

Today, when driving to work, I saw the flag at the post office at half mast. For some reason, that made my heart catch in my throat, whereas none of the memorial specials I had been listening to had gotten to me.

As soon as I got to work today, I looked up the old thread. It was really moving to see were we were that day and how confused and scared we were while it was going on.

Thank you for posting that old thread...we were all so terrified. I got most of my news here, as well.
