My Cameras Broke!

I just tried to download some pics and couldnt get the thingy you plug into the computer to plug into the camera! Im gonna go crazy! I dont know if its the cord thingy or if its the plug in part of the camera. But either way Im not happy. How do I tell which one is broken. If its the camera I get a new one.

Are you saying you can't plug it in, or that you can but it just won't work?

If it's plugged in but not working, make sure you check to see if you have the latest drivers for the camera. Old drivers, or lost drivers will prevent hardware from working.

Also, make sure that the connections are secure.

Sorry no I cant get it to plug into the camera at all. Either the cord you use to download is broken or somehow the actual place you plug the camera into is broken. They both dont look right. So I think I might have broken them last time I downloaded the pictures.
