We had stuffed shells (Mom makes the best!), salad, broccoli puff, calamari, and pepermint cake. Not the usual variety, but there were only 5 of us, so we didn't get carried away and get stuck with rediculous amounts of leftovers! Oh we also had to have spiced apple rings and Mom found spiced crab apples too. I looooove apple rings!

Aw...that's what's known as a "tradition". See, now you are EXPECTED to burn the biscuits, LOL.

We had a rib roast, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans and store bought dinner rolls. I ate way too much! There was a store bought berry pie, homemade cookies and fudge for desert. I am still full....

We had turkey which Ash is still living on the old style weight we grew up on which is pounds and ounces, so didn't quite understand the new weight in KG, we ended up with like a 16 pound turkey for 3! Roast potatoes, roasted parsnips, sprouts, carrots and peas, stuffing (made with sausage meat) and yorkshire puddings, I'm the only one who loves cranberry sauce so I had loads of that too.

Glad I'm not the only one then..lol. Mine were still edible. But I'm the only one that ate one. Next year I think I might skip biscuits. But then again by that time I'll forget about this "tradition" and buy them anyway.

Turkey
Ham
Trail beans (Baked beans w/ bear)
Mac n Cheese
Mashed Potato's & Gravy. No instant stuff either.
Bicuits
Deviled Eggs
Corn on the cob.
And 3 different pies.
Your dinner sounds very close to what we had yesterday, minus the bear!

I was stationed in Germany for five years. The weight in kilograms times 2.2 will give you the weight in pounds. So five kilograms would be 11 pounds and 10 kilograms would be 22 pounds.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
That sounds like a great idea Heather! We do those things too sometimes, order Chinese on a holiday!

Our x-mas food goes like this:

we get up, and go eat breakfast at the "out-laws" house
then we come home & open gifts
then we go to DH's Italian gramom's who have a great spread of stuff: cookies, 3-5 italian cheeses, pepperoni, hummus, pita chips, meatballs, these little greek grape leaf wrap things that are fab
then we go to his cousins & munch there on chips/pretzels etc
then by dinner time, we are hungry so I just made a regular dinner, filet steaks in the broiler and some mixed veggies & that's it!

I'll make a note of that for next year, thanks!
