I didnt get much but i still have more presents to open come later this week and early 2007. I asked for a steam buster/spot bot type thingy, & a KONE dustbuster (for kitty litter scatters).

I got a KONE dustbuster, a cd, a video game for my PS2 and a ceramic set of trinket boxes. Ohh yeah and I got (Willing ") for my Trail of the Painted Ponies collection. Hes been retired for awhile and I have been dreaming of him even longer. Hubby surprised me with him. I never imagined he would buy him for me as he thinks Willing is ugly.

The kids made out like bandits-- we mainly do christmas presents for the kids only anyway. I just asked for the cleaning stuff because otherwise I would have to beg to get it in the off season.

Good christmas last nite and today though. We are also doing a smaller christmas with my family later this week (probably friday nite or saturday) and then we have more gifts in Arkansas at my grandmothers house. She wont ship them so we will get them when we go up next spring.

Well I got a stocking full of goodies including a pair of socks that has cats on them and a pair that has dogs. A new pen and little stocking stuffers. A teal bath robe and I have always wanted one but never had the spare money to get one. A pair of sleep pants and a little gold Christmas tree with bells which I will putaway tomorrow for next year. And Lilly and the other dogs got toys and I still have to go get Tavia's new scratching pad. And I got hugs from my nieces. Which was the best present of all. I also got new candles and my dad made me some chilli.

I had a wonderful Christmas. For me- the best part was just getting to spend time with my family (i have worked sooo much lately, that i haven't had much time to just enjoy their company). So that was wonderful to be with all of them!
This morning Colin suprised me and gave me a gorgeous I pod!!!
I've always wanted one, but just never asked! Hahah, it's like he read my mind. He also got me the car thing for it and a few accessories, as well as a really nice flash disk for my pc
He was soo sweet this year!!! I was really hoping for an engagement ring......but i am definitely happy with what I got. Maybe some day on the engagement ring huh?/ My mom got me a gorgeous monogramed red robe with my first name on it- it's realllllllly soft and comfy! She also got me a really nice fleecy blanket (i'm a blanket freak- i'm always cold, so i love throws!
). She also got me candy, lots of bath/body stuff, shaving cream (random
), and several new tounge rings
Which is funny- because I don't have my tounge pierced- nor do i want it to be
She thought she was getting belly button rings (i have my belly button pierced) and asked the sales girl for help. I'm thinking there was a problem with their communication because when I opened my gift, lol....i was like...well thankyou mom! it's very pretty...but umm....i don't have my tounge pierced
My whole family die laughing- mom included
(no worries- i will just take the jewels off of them and put them on my belly rings
/ I had a very wonderful day today. I hope everyone else did as well. I'd say I was very happy with my gifts.
The only thing I would have also liked to get would be an engagement ring...ahh..maybe someday right?

Lots of goodies, the highlight of which is the 19-inch flatscreen monitor in front of me right now.
It was on my agenda for sometime next year, once the credit cards had settled down, but my sweetie beat me to it.
Other computer odds and sods, including SD cards which both my camera and my PDA use, and a pocket drive for them. DVD, kitchen toys, and assorted edibles. Definitely satisfied.

I did well! DH did get me Kitty Surprise! (What a sweetie! And she has 4 babies, 2 girls and 2 boys, one is a runt that looks more like a Pokémon character, but still cute!) He also got me some gorgeous earrings that match my engagement ring (hearts), a Mutts Calendar, a stud finder (found him immediately!) and an electric knife thingy for carving a turkey!

My Mom got me both a whole fancy wood burning kit but also a dremmle thing for engraving and stuff! I can't wait to get craftin! She and my step-dad also got me an earring/necklace set and DH a portable DVD player thingy. 2 friends got me bath sets. The Japanese Cherry Blossom one from B&B is sitting in front of me and smells divine! Grandma sent me a pretty holiday cookie jar and a book. My aunt gave me some small hoops with little diamonds down the front. (My Aunt and Grandmother consider it important for us girls to have nice jewelry, but I think this is the nicest piece she's ever bought me!) SIL sent a gift card to Kohls, which I spent on a fabulous sweater! DH's mother will be visiting in a few days and we'll exchange gifts then. My father appoligized several times already, but his gifts to us are coming late because of some health issues with my Grandpa this week. (All is well with that now though, thank the Lord!)

We have ao lot of trails we can ride on Plus it will be a big help in the gardens being able to drive on The 4 Wheeler and pull all my garden equipment instead of having to use a Wheel barrow..

), Easy Walk Harness, dog/cat toys, crinkle tunnel thingy for the cats, a superbly adorable plaque that says "The cats & me welcome thee", some ceramic cats & dogs(which have already been broken), socks, & then I'm getting money to cover Damita's vet trip she & I will be taking soon!

Every one made out so great this year
I know I did, I got a photo printer just for photos (I love taking pictures), photoshop elements 5.0, Some tops one is too big tho gotta shrink it, and 2 pairs of pants and one of those I gotta shrink too! I also got a really pretty ring from my mom with a ruby inside ( I love the color red) I also got a pair of earings and a necklace with an A in it for my name, I also got this little jutbox alarm clock thing! Beverly Hills 90210 first season, a watch with a necklace and earings, and this massage pillow I am young but man does my back always hurt
I am hoping its nothing serious though seeing how my oldest brother had back surgery last year at age 24 I think !!! and $100 thats all from mom and dad and santa
And also Stormie was an EARLY christmas present according to my mom and also some little outfits that go together and if theres more IDK

From my brother and his family I got the waste deep dvd (good movie) and A Gang of Roses dvd (seen that movie on tv and loved it) !!!

From grandma E some little things (I wasnt thinking she was gonna buy me a baby phat coat but I told her it was too expensive so I got some stuff for my hair and tweezers and doritos
, and $100

From my other grandma I got $25 which is understandable since my pap died in March
hard for the first christmas without him but the whole family was together down there!

And some money from other family members including my FAVORITE Uncle Al, He started sending me cards and money last year for christmas
I am figuring its because he thought my brother was gone
idk thats just my guess because they never got cards from him
and other family members! So I did pretty well and the kitties got stuff when I first got money, and I think later today technically I am going to go and buy them a few things (I get christmas money and I wanna buy them things
) I really wanna get my mom another kittie though, Willie is coming home I am determined but Still theres this cutie thats 6 and she is sooo cute I want her for my mommy ! But dad will probly kill us
!!

The kitchen remodel was our gift to each other this year but we still had a few token gifts to each other (just to have gifts to open). But I also bought new bathroom faucets (the old ones were junk) and 3 new ceiling fans for our sun porch. I bought them (1/2 price on ebay), and hubby installed them over the weekend. I love these fans - you can see the old one hanging to the left of the new fan. The old fans were rusty and weren't installed correctly - they wobbled so bad we rarely used them. The new ones are divine!!

in a pile of open toed shoes!
I got all my stuff from DH before x-mas.....he couldn't wait.

I got chocolate leather gloves lined in cashmere, a chocolate kenneth cole scarf, a $100 gift certificate to a clothing store in the mall, a $100 cash to get a winter ski jacket, and a dust buster with all the attachments. That is what I asked for.....he tried to pick me out a coat, but he couldn't find one he liked.....I just wear his coat all the time anyway....that's why I wanted him to pick one for me, cause then I'll wear it.

and more importantly, DH loved all of his things too! Usually he's not impressed with his gifts.....it's my fault cause I used to spoil him rotten, before we had bills, and when I made a ton of $.....but I don't make that $ anymore, and so I can't do for him what I used to....
But I got him a paint ball gun & kit that he loved, ugg slippers that he loves, 2 sweatshirts from old navy that he liked, funny tee shirts for work, a few books (an uncle john's bathroom reader, a cat book, a card game/trick book), battleship, scrabble, 2 cologne sets (very sexy from VS, and Life by Aramis), nose hair clippers, and a toaster.....yes, he hates my toaster oven and always complains (several times a week) how he wants a "regular" toaster.....and when he got it, he said "and I don't wanna see YOU using MY toaster not once!!!"

I got spoiled rotten and I love all the things I got, but my 3 favorites have to be: 2 little kitchen fairies from both my girls. They are the cutest little fairies that sit on top of foods. I fell in love with them last year and I guess my girls picked up the "hint"
Here's the 2 they got me:

My best friend got me a beautiful Movado watch. It's gorgeous!
We dated for many years which unfortunately didn't work out like we had hoped, but we are still very very close and I absolutely loved the gift.

And my parents got me a full year of lawn care from our local lawn company.
This was the best present ever cause I can grow flowers and plants no problem, but I have not been able to grow grass successfully since I moved into this house 2 years ago. It's just something I never thought of as being tough, but I just can't seem to get it. So next year I'm gonna finally have a green lawn!!! The best part of the present was the poem my father wrote though to tell me about it. The poem said:

With flowers, you have all the power
With weeds, you really succeed
With grubs, you could fill a tub
But with grass you fall flat on your a**
Not to worry, you won't be sorry
This gift is payment, for a year of lawn treatment

Isn't that the best! My dad's the greatest!

By far the best part of the whole day though was watching everyone else open all the gifts we got for them. I love that part so much. I love giving even more than I like getting.

Cute poem.
Reminds me of the one I wrote a couple of years ago when I gave my sister an office chair. I had my nephew put it in her office and put the card with poem under the tree.
"Every king has a throne
Now you have your very own.
Go to where you rule your world,
Sit right down and have a whirl"
Well, the first throne she thought of was a toilet
but I emphasized the "rule your world part" and went to her office to see.
