I just have to give my props to this food! Marishka has been on it for about 5 months, and she seems to love it. She also gets one can of wet food a day (the absolute most she'll eat, but I'm ok with that now). Anyway. I always noticed people raving about how you'll know the difference in food because their fur is so much healthier! It is so true!

Just backnote, Mari was a stray as a kitten I took inside in May/June. She thrived (after a few food wars), and is doing phenominally. The severly underweight kitten has become a beautiful, voluptous (
) cat. I had noticed her fur was just becoming so silky, and shiny. The black in her fur has that blue glint to it in the light, and she just is so soft to the touch.

Now, I am not around cats other than Mari. I don't know anyone that has one that lives close, or anything. However I was out of town visiting my grandmother, and she has a cat about a year older than Mari, who was a tiny stray when she was a kitten. So we played and petted last weekend, but I was happy to get back to my baby. Now, I love and respect my grandmother more than most people in this world, and she is a brilliant, well-educated woman whom I have always looked up to. But she is tight with money, and buys one of the prominent supermarket cat foods. But Patches is a happy and healthy cat. So when I got home, I noticed that Marishka's fur is leaps and bounds silkier. I mean, it's like a different texture, almost! I really couldn't attest to how much you really can tell until I felt the difference between the two cats. It's amazing.

Anyway, just wanted to let people who didn't know about Natural Balance that it is a great food, and I stand by it. She'll eat it, eagerly, still. I don't feel bad a bout giving it to her, and I don't pay an arm and leg for it. Win-win : )

I've had great experience with the food, too, and recommend it when somebody asks what to feed their cats.

I also love the food......my cats have been eating it for about a year and have awesome coats. I just added 3 Ragdolls 2 kittens and a mother and 2 have the runs from it cuz it is a rich food
I am weaning them off it hoping that Solid Gold dry will clear up this issue. If your cat can tolerate the food..........it is a quality food and one one the better ones available
