Cold, tired and very bored

Our Grandson was supposed to be flying home to the Channel Isles today, we got up at 5.30, got to the airport at 7.45 and sat there for six hours then they cancelled his flight!!!

and tomorrow doesn't look as if it is going to be any better, so it looks as if he will be staying for Christmas

just caught that on the evening news...........OMG thats just mad, I dont remember it being that bad last year. B.A. have cancelled well over 200 flights, all those people stuck in Heathrow .......Nice that he can stay with you........extra custard at your house then

There are no flights to Jersy today, and the earliest I could get him re-booked for is Jan2. So he is staying for Christmas and New Year!

One more at Christmas is never a bad thing, though he may not see it that way if he can't get all his presents at once! It does sound horrific over htere - I am glad I am not travelling.
