As you all know Lee lost his job a few months ago and we have been struggling to get bills paid. our prayers have been answered (IMO) My best friend and I have been talking. She is dating Lee's best friend and of course Lee and I are together. She has a daughter. Well We have 3 bedrooms. I want the 3 of them to move in. That would split the bills 4 ways and make life affordable for all of us. Plus we all get along very well. The house is plenty big enough for all of us! So can I maybe have a few vibes that Lee is ok with this? I really want this to happen!

Sending good vibes your way!!!! Just make sure that you take his thoughts into account if he says he doesn't like the idea, and hear him out!

Fingers crossed that he thinks it's a great idea as well!

Well I have already made a list of pro's and con's and the pro far outweight the cons. That is a good reminder for me though cause I do tend to get annoyed when he doesn't hear me out!

It's never easy living with others Brandi (from experience), but with a healthy respect for each other, you guys should be fine!!! Patience is the key! And constant compromise! I'm sure you guys will work it out....and maybe your prayers have been answered! I wish you the best of luck....

I am definately prepared for the difficulty of living with others. The girl has been my best friend for 15 years. (Wow being an army brat I never thought I would be saying the I havea best friend of 15 years) Lee also also known the guy since he was 8 or 9. I really appreciate everyones advice! It really helps when I am trying to plan what to say to Lee if he doesn't agree.

It sounds like a great arrangement for everyone involved. Hope it works the way you want it to!

I would say that you come up with an written agreement with them before hand - how to handle chores, bills, disputes, etc. This could save a lot of hurt feelings later.

Great idea! I hadn't thought of that. Something to the effect of: bills will be shared equally (rent, food, utilities) and the cost will be split 4 ways. Household chored will be divided evenly, washer and dryer to remain empty when not in use so the next person can use it when they are ready. Little things like that.

I agree about getting everything in writting cause trust me you don't know someone until you live with them. And make sure that everyone in the house is okay with each other as well and that includes the cats and her daughter. The little stuff usually causes more problems than the big stuff.
