So I get out of the shower this morning, and hear a tiny sound outside the closed bathroom door.

I slowly open it, and there is little Ferris, sitting just outside the door looking in at me.

This is a first - Ginger sometimes comes into the bathroom with me after a shower, but she wiggles the doorknob to let me know she wants in. This time she's nowhere to be found.

So the door is now open, and I'm wet, wrapped in a towel, and the warm air is all rushing out of the bathroom and the cold air is rushing in, and Ferris just sits there, looking adorable, as he stares up at me.

I invited him in, but he chose to just sit there and watch me. So, of course, I had to leave the door open. Earlier in the morning, for the first time in weeks, he jumped up on my bed for scritches.

Do you think he knows Santa is coming and is trying to be a good little kitty?

Yep, little Ferris not only loves you, but also knows that Santa is watching!

Did you consider he might just be a peeping tomcat?

Oh, I hope, I hope he loves me, even if he doesn't trust me yet.

I've been working VERY hard at trying to slow down my walk, and it seems to be helping out. I'm usually 100 miles an hour and I walk with a purpose, and I startle him really easily without meaning to (I keep telling him it is NOT always all about him, LOL) just by walking into a room, so I'm trying to be super-conscious of that and see if it helps. So far, so good.
