I have a stray that has adopted us. Problem I want to take her in and get her spayed, but I know she has two kittens, I'm not sure if they are weened or not is there any way to tell as I don't want the kittens to lose their food source. BTW I have every intention of taking kittens in to be checked out and get them any shots they need, as soon as I can catch them. If they are old enough I will get them fixed also, if not I will wait until they are old enough.

Best thing is to take her to the vet/have her spayed and then return her immediately so that she can feed her kittens. If you wait...she could become pregnant again as cats do become pregnant while feeding a litter.

Yup! This is the best advice.

THank you for caring for these kitties!
