I've got five kittens from different litters and weigh them weekly. Just wanted to make sure they all seem alright for their ages.

Leo & Daisy Duke are both appr. 5 months old. Born to a feral, 6 month old female, they have always been smallish. They gain 3-5 ounces a week. Leo weighs 3.7 lbs and Daisy is 3.5 lbs as of last night.

Olive is a 4 1/2 month old female, weighed in at 3.5 lbs last night. She has gained 1-2 ounces a week but gained 4 this week.

Tabitha is also 4 1/2 months old, female, weighed 4.8 lbs and towers over the other kittens. She gains 6-7 ounces a week approximately.

And little Spooky is 13 weeks old, male, and is 2.2 pounds. He stayed in the 1 pound range for quite awhile and I was pretty happy to see him break 2 pounds.

They get plenty of food and water. But, none of them are overweight, it just seems that Leo, Daisy and Spooky are really small and Tabi is sooo huge.
I know every cat is different just wanted to make sure they're all somewhat on track for their ages.

To me they seem on track, depends on the cat really.

My sister adopted a teeny tiny inbred boy who only weighs 3-4lbs at 5 yrs old.

they sound like ok weights , the smaller ones might be because they had a bad start in life and didnt have the nursment they needed ( sorry about the spelling) but good on you for looking after them and given them a warm place.

I agree that some might be on the smaller side; on average I like to say kits weigh about a pound per month old. But you also need to take into consideration the parents size and body types (strays are hard to tell).

For example; a maine coon type would weigh more then a siames/oriental type at the same age.

As long as they are eating well, playing, and eliminating they should be fine. I'm sure by the time they are full grown, they will be average size cats. Check with your vet about worming - that can cause kittens to be smaller then normal.
