Stay off the road Susie! My DH arrived in Columbus 5 minutes ago! He is away on business again and won't be home till Saturday! They are renting a car and driving 2 hrs to Cinncinnati (sp?!). We weren't sure what the weather was like, and I told him about all of your snow last week or so, so we packed heavy for him! This time, I am going to enjoy my time home alone....no cooking, no dishes to do, and lots of cuddle time with the kitties! Please remember him on Saturday for a safe return flight home to me for the holiday!!! Thanks!

Hey Eileen! What's the weather like there?!

Hey Heather, Tom is only like 80 miles from me when he's in Cincinnati, too bad u didn't go with him, I could have met u there!! I will pray for good flying weather, and a safe trip home, don't get too bored alone!

That's good to know... Suzie and I are about three hours away from your husband!

Colombus is a lot of fun, and there's an Ikea there!

Hey Heather, you did great on the spelling of Cincinnati, only one "n" too many!

It's sunny and we're expecting a high of 53 today. Hope your DH has a fun, safe trip!

Thanks guys!!! I would've loved to go!!! We could've had a TCS meet up! That woulda been awesome!

Heather, I have an IKEA like 5 minutes from me....a tip, don't ever go on a Sunday morning....they start baking those cinnamon buns early & the whole darn place smells like them....there is NO WAY you can get out of the store without buying some....it's physically impossible.

Wanna hear the cutest thing?! My DH is very excited to be going on a "business" trip on a plane....he was telling everyone "it's a business trip"...this is all new for him, he was never on a plane before he met me & now he thinks he's jet-setting.... It's so cute..... and I put Louie's old collar on his suitcase so he'd be able to recognize his bag easier, and have something to remind him of his kitties....

yup Susie, it was probably Tom! Especially if he was driving too fast, coming up on people faster than you should, and had music blaring too loud! (he never used to drive this way.....he is changing in his old age.. .)
He is blaring the music because he can't hear it as well anymore! Enjoy you alone time! And I will send safe trip home vibes for him on Saturday!

Hey He's not far from my sister! She's in Westerville Ohio. I went there this summer to give her some support and finally meet my nieces.
It's an 8+ hour drive from here. But really not that bad. Unless you forget to fill up the car and can't find a gas station! We almost ran out of gas because Dh decided that he could wait to fill it up and the gas light came on. What a goofball!

We almost did the same thing Barb! On our drive to Ohio.....I thought I remembered the exits on rt 80 well enough....but I was wrong....DH loved to bring that up at least 100 times on the trip home!

LOL! Poor Hubby got it from both myself and my sister when we got there!
But he took it well, he's great like that.

I'm waving out my window at him right now! (I live in downtown Columbus, I probably heard his plane)

Incidentally, I haven't been wearing a coat much yet, and it isn't cold at all. It's been sort of disturbingly warm, really. But, I think it is getting colder.

Cinci should be maybe 2, 2 and a half hours, yeah. Depending on how he drives, and how the traffic is on 71 through town.

Safe travelling for your DH!
