I need some advice!! My 2 kitties just turned a year old this past week and I bought the new adult dry food, but they aren't really eating any of it.
I am worried because they have hardly even touched their food dish at all yesterday or today. There wasn't much of the old dry food left, so its basically all new food in their food dish. Should I have mixed the old and new food for them?

I did mix some of the new dry food with their old wet food this morning and they were eating that. Any and every thoughts are welcome!

Hi there Spooky,
I believe it's supposed to be best if you switch your kitties over to their new food slowly.
Start off with 3/4 bowl of the old food and 1/4 bowl of the new food... then increase it to 1/2 of each of the old and new foods.. then 3/4 new food, 1/4 old food.. and then all of the new food.
You may want to do this over a week or two - changing their food too quickly may cause stomach irritation. Good luck!

Thanks! I don't have any of the old food left, so I will stop by the pet store later and buy a small bag of their old food to help with the transitition.
