My Dad called in sick...

For the first time in 40 years my Dad called in sick from work today. He had some nasty food poisoning. This is the man who went into work hours (yes I wrote hours) after a broken leg. I just got to talk to him and he's feeling better, but if anyone could spare some get better soon vibes it would mean the world to him.

Yes, and he's never going back to the place that made him sick.

I know it sounds paranoid, but I'm afraid to eat out ANYWHERE any more. Give Dad an extra hug.

Yeah... I know the feeling.

He said he knew he wasn't going to make it when he threw up in his car. That's my Dad! Trying to go to work even though he doesn't feel good.
