One of my mothers cats, which she found as a feral stray has very strong pointed markings. She befriended him, brought him inside, neutered him, and named him Sammy. So I have a couple of questions.

What would his coloring be called? We think he may be lilac point.

Also, my Luna and Nova came from another stray my mother took in. Because Luna has pointed markings, is it possible that Sammy and Luna share the same father? They live in a very rural area, so it's pretty unusual to see pointed cats running around stray. Also, my mom only has 4 cats, I think I made it sound like she takes in a different cat every other day. Just thought I'd clear that up- she's scared of being known as the crazy cat lady

So here are some pictures.

Luna would like you to please ignore the sweater she's sporting in this picture. She had stitches that we were trying to prevent her from scratching up.

I'm probably totally off, but he looks like a blue lynx point to me. He's a cutie, whatever he is! I LOVE pointed cats!

I was thinking blue lynx as well. I've never had a lilac, but my understanding is their points are slow to come in. This little guy looks like a kitten and his mask and points look pretty well defined.

Isn't there also a higher chance of lilacs being female? They have a warmer tone to them as well, which is why I thought blue because he looks a little cooler.

Could he be chocolate? In the third picture the paw pads look choc. the other picture his ears look lighter then the other cats, she is a seal.

ETA the tail looks too dark to be chocolate, I think. He is most likely a light seal or a blue, he just looks too brown to be blue to me.

So is it lynx point because of all the tabby in it? I was once told that all pointed cats have tabby markings, some are just easier to see than others. Was that wrong information?

EricaNicole- I'm amazed every time I see pictures of Stewie how similar him and Luna are! So wierd!

Yes he is lynx point because of the "tabby" in him.
I think all cats have tabby in them, some you can see faint "ghost stripeing "in others you can't, you no you weren't told wrong.
