I am so happy for you all it sounds as if she will make a good playmate for Ginger with all of that energy. Your house will sound like you have a herd of elephants. Give her smooches for us all.

We're adopting her from Every Creature Counts, a no-kill rescue that shows their available cats and dogs in Petsmarts in the Denver metro area. They have a sanctuary on some acreage so that those animals who are not social enough for adoption can still live a happy life. They are very good, and I'm really happy with this entire experience.

This is the organization that saved my Carly. She was on the euthansia list at a shelter and they rescued her.

So glad another kitty finds a home.

I would LOVE it if Smudge and Mojo could be adoptive sisters!

Mojo was...well, we weren't planning on adding another one until Earl saw her. She grabbed his heart through the glass, and the feeling was mutual with her too. So it was all thought of, considered, decided on, and completed in less than a week.

Now, this kitten is a ball of energy. Seriously...she does NOT stop! Well, she stops for about 5 seconds at a time to snuggle with Daddy (after she literally RUNS up him - not up TO him, up him!), and for about 7 seconds to be enthralled with the TV. She's obviously never seen a TV before and it is the most amazing thing she's ever seen!

Oh my goodness Heidi! What an adorable little thing she is! Good luck getting thru your first night with her, hopefully she slows down to sleep tonight! How old is she?

She's about 6 months old, according to the rescue.

That's awesome!!! She looks gorgeous!! And given that she's been through a lot so far with rescue organisations and the like, her coat looks BEE-YOOTIFUL! I can only imagine what she'll be like once she's been showered with love and attention!

I imagine she'll be a good friend to Ginger as well since they're both newbies! What does Ophelia think about it all going from the queen to sharing with TWO other girls now??

Here's the first trick for a high energy black girl: Get a wand toy with a long rope and teach her to JUMP for the toy!! If you do it right they can fly like superman! LOL

Wow, Heidi! I just saw this - welcome to the 4 cats club. I remember when I was surprised when I heard people had that many cats, LOL! She's a beautiful girl, and reminds me of my sweet Elsa!
