we have 2 cats, one is 3.5yr the other is about 9 months. Both female, both fixed.
sunday we came home and found two odd puddles on the floor, one was watery with a bit of yellow in it, the other was watery with a bit of pink in it. it had no noticeable odor so I don't think it was urine. Both cats seemed normal, neither of them had traces of the stuff on their fur, so I wasn't quite sure what happened.
during the night I'd seen the older cat sleeping in her bed. When I woke up, the older cat had gone elsewhere, and there was a bunch of the odd yellowish discharge in the bed, along with a lot more hair than is usually in there (possibly unrelated)
again, both cats seemed normal. I did notice the younger cat sneezing two or three times, but she was in the new cat tree that we had got on saturday, so I thought it might be from the new smells/dust on it
Is there any normal reasons for this type of discharge, or should I go to the vet?
