So just in case anyone wasn't sure, we're definitely adopting Smudge...
We can't officially do it until she's had her eye operation and is given the all clear which will be a couple of months away possibly, but it will happen eventually!

Anyway, so I went out to Petsmart today to get her and Lily a new collar (Lily's lost hers somewhere in the house and I have NO idea where it is!), and I also got a harness for Smudge as well.

Her and Stumpy always try to escape when we open the front door so I thought I might as well leash train her and let out out for walks so she knows her surroundings in case she does escape!

I put the harness on her and she was NOT impressed
She had her belly to the ground and was just crawling everywhere. I couldn't help but laugh
I gave her some treats while she was wearing and seemed fine, so I took her outside for a little explore.

The longer she was out there the better she got, and she was ALMOST walking normally after 5 minutes or so! She was also sitting in the sun kneading the concrete and purring, so I think that means she likes it!

I forgot to get her a leash though, so once I get her one, her and Stumpy can go for walks together!

What a cutie pie!!
I'm so glad ya'll are going to adopt her!
/ My girls love to go for walks on their leash as well
Velvet walks on her harness better than my dogs to half the time
/ I have a little garden i planted just for my girls with cat grass and catnip plants in it. (They wear a collar with tags at all times. When I walk them outside- it is on their little kitty harness and always with me by their side- they also get Feline Frontline once month to prevent parasite problems
). Next time you need to take some pictures of cute little smudge for us to see outside
