One of Shami's teeth fell out!

I noticed a little white thing in Shami's fur, and it turned out to be a tooth! He's about 6 mo. old now, is this normal for cats to lose their teeth? I opened his mouth briefly and there was a little bloody spot where the tooth fell out.

Hey, (i'm not 100% sure about the age) but yes it's absolutely normal for cats to lose their teeth.. like humans, they have baby teeth they eventually replace with adult teeth. Now... i'm sure, somebody will confirm that this is one of the ages cats lose their teeth in.

I remember, going frantic thinking somehow in my sleep I must of hit Sunny and knocked one of her teeth out.. and I was going crazy... and I called the vet, and im like "Doc' Doc' ! !! Sunny's tooth fell out"... well he basically told me it was alright, and now she has a complete and healthy set of adult teeth.

I think that there is a reason why everyone does not find kitten teeth.

If kittens are anything like my puppy was, they eat the teeth as they fall out. It's the rare one that the human sees. We found only one of our puppy's baby teeth. I caught her eating it and wanted to see what it was.

Shami is just losing his baby teeth!

Diesel lost both his big incisors at once and he had the cutest toothless grin!

lol I panicked when Chay lost his teeth too, I called the vet to see if it was normal! He was about that age too, 5-6 months, so that's perfectly normal. Does his breath stink too? Chay's was just awful!

Phew, it's a relief to know it's just baby teeth falling out. He's been trying to knaw on my hand recently too and since last night he stopped.

His breath is eerily clean smelling. I've never seen a cat with such odorless breath.

I just found out this morning that my poor chelsea (5months) has a loose lower fang, it's not missing but when i called my vet, he said he wont be open till after the jewish holiday.. should i worry that it's hanging at a right angle out of her mouth? she wont let me touch her face so i snucka peek when she was napping and nothing is swollen yet..what can i do? she doesnt seem like shes in pain.. shes following my mouse around as we speak... type.. it's just that her lip is pushed up cause the tooth is in the way.. this IS normal right? im just oworrries that her tooth is gonna cut her mouth..
