What about putting your other cat in there with your hubby and seeing if it is calmer?

Last night was interesting. As mean and bad as I was Ben is doing better with his aggression. The three played with me last night taking turns. I took Ben to bed around midnight and set myself up on the floor with is toys. I passed out and so did he. Lucky on the other hand kept knocking on the door. I ingored him for awhile then I heard him going after Molly. I had to take Molly in the bedroom. Every so often Lucky would bang on the door and hid when I opened it. I finally told him NO and gave him food to distract him.

Ben was very loving to hubby this morning and was left in the room with me to sleep. Things were good but Lucky came knocking. I let them play for a bit. They are great together during the day. I let Benson out for a bit to play and then back in the room. I go in there every so often to play with him.

that is good they are playing together a little bit. I still don't think you answered about if he is neutered, that makes all the difference in the world. Males are generally more aggressive when they are intact. Even neutered males can react negatively to unspayed females in the house. If any of your cats aren't neutered that is the first thing to solving any problems.

He is not neutered. Sorry I had that posted elsewhere. I am trying to get him in tomorrow. If not I have to wait until next week. I have to find a way to drop him off.

Excellent..chances are that will improve things...still, once he is neutered, I'd go with SLOW introductions again.

The surgery went well and he will be home tonight. We have to give him some drugs for a few days. We had his liver and kidney functions checked and all is good. No signs of URI either. All 3 have been scratching their ears more but I could be looking too much into things as always.

Lucky was crying for Benson last night. That is when they go crazy playing/fighting. Molly cried in the kitchen yesterday before we took Ben to the vet. Hubby thinks she was calling him to eat.

I am sure this weekend will be fun being the holidays and all. Tomorrow we will be out for a few hours & then most of Sunday. Monday we are having family over for dinner. Benson will be enjoying our bedroom and the rest for many hours. I just pray they don't cry for each other too much to disturb the neighbors.

Thanks everyone!

No...thank you for taking this boy to be neutered. Please keep us informed on how it goes.

He definately was ready for it. He was needing, grinding, purring, eyes closed shut for 45 minutes the other day with his furry boa on my white fluffy blanket. I don't ever recalling seeing the man parts so much on a kitten. LoL
Three more hours until he comes home.

Are there any updates?

I am so glad that there is a happy ending. Cheerful headbuts and happy tearful licks from KittenKiya's Clan. Welcome home, baby, you are safe now.

be prepared they will hiss and growl when they come together again. Benson smells like the vet and medicine so his scent is foreign to Lucky. Use pure vanilla extract on both cats before allowing them together, put a few drops on each cat in three locations, under the chin, between the shoulder and the base of the tail, this will neutralize the scary smell.
