Honey, what happened? Have you called a vet? Do you have any baby food, strained meats, preferably beef to make a slurry and feed her? What happened??? Is she dehydrated???

well, the vet said she has a 50/50 chance, if i dedicate all my time to her, and i have. im seeing somewhat of a improvement. she meowed ALL night, so today i let her out to be with her brothers and sisters and momma, and she seems to get better. the vet advised me not to, but i mean come on, the fleas are just going to disappear all of a sudden, so im washing all the kittens everynight. trying my best at hand to keep them off, her eyes are more fully open, and she seems to wobble around. im hoping she will turn around soon, tho that kit food stinks.
but improvement is in the future. i'll keep an update as to how it is going.

Please keep us posted, please? I know that we can't physically do anything to help you, but believe me, we are here for you. You don't have to face this all by yourself.

We have shoulders here if you need to cry, we have ears here if you need to yell and fingers that type to send you all the best vibes and prayers and headbuts and licks that we can share. I am SO glad your baby is better.

thank you so much, that means so much.

but this hole thing seems to be a roller coaster, now we have a cat throwing up... and with what.. 7 cats.. its hard to telll.. we have a feeling its vodka because whenever we let her out its starts, im going to buy fresh food tomorrow so maybe it will stop.. i hope.. still sleeping...

but thanks again.. im going to need the support..

i do have a question tho, should it be ok for me to take her with me to tenn.. i have to go visit some family this coming wed, and there will be no one down here to take care of her, and i dont have the money to pay the vet to keep her, it shouldnt be a problem tho.. right? god i hope not.

I would be very leery of taking her anywhere. She is in a fragile state right now and if she were to be exposed to another germ, she could become even sicker.

However, if you are going to take her traveling, make sure you have a sturdy cat carrier, lots of blankets and take her food, water, kitty pan and toys.

i hate to say this... i really do.. typing it just brings me to tears...

as i was feeding vodka today, things were different.. all of the cats were sitting around her... just looking.. and as i was trying to feed her, she wouldnt swallow.. at all.. then started meowing.. that was the worst meow i have ever heard of, and never want to hear it again.. just hearing it made me shake and cry, momma got in my lap to see what was going on and then began to growl at her... i did all i could to feed her...

i felt for her heart... i only got a faint beat... there was nothing left....

so i put her in her bed, closed her eyes, turned the light out and shut the door.. she is in a better place now, with her father, Vodka Sr. (i named her vodka because she looked exactly like me boy vodka that was killed a few months back)

she is in a better place, w/o all the pain she had here. we had a little service and put her beside her dad...

im going to miss her...

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beauty. Sometimes they just have such a short life here with us, it's just not fair.

I remember reading about the death of the other kitten due to fleas, I'm sorry for your loss. Did the vet say it's ok to bath the kittens? I thought they might still be too young for that. Best of luck with the comb to get rid of all the evil fleas and those beautiful babies.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Out of deep respect for your loss, and sweet little Vodka, I'm going to close this thread, and make a copy of the relevant posts in Crossing the Bridge so she can be remembered there.
