Don't know if anyone is interested, but this link was listed in my local newpaper yesterday. If you are as "seasoned" as I am, you might remember the old POW bracelets that people wore in the 70s. I had one in high school and wore it until it broke. It's the same idea, only you can get one with the name of a person who was a victim of the tragedy (one even has the name of a rescue dog). Or you can choose a generic memorial one.

Deb~

If you still have your POW bracelet, you might be interested in this site:

http://www.thevirtualwall.org/index.asp

I actually found my guy there and posted a tribute. Others who wore his bracelet posted as well. Once when in Washington, DC, I got to visit the actual Wall and made a rubbing of my guy's name. He is still officially MIA.

I ordered one of the memorial bracelets, too. I chose a WTC victim who lived in my home town, although for me it was hard to make a choice as to what to get. I remember back when you got the POW bracelets, they just sent you whatever.

Thanks so much for the link! That is such a great idea to wear the bracelets. I am thinking about ordering one sometime soon.
