I switched my cats to Nutro Natural for indoor cats. I have to male cats they are both under a year..Kilowatt is probably 9-10 months and Megabyte is probably 7-8 months. They both have been fixed and were gaining weight on the kitten food so I switched them first to Purina then to Nutro. They were doing fine on 1/3 a cup of Purina in the morning and one in the evening. Now that I have switched them to Nutro they beg for food all the time. They wake me up at midnight and Kilowatt gently bites my arm because he wants me to feed him again.

And this morning my DH fed them at 6:45 am and at 7:15 am Kilowatt was waking me up trying to trick me into feeding them again.

Do you think they just like their new food so they are beggers now? Or am I not feeding them enough? I think they are both under 10lbs.

Thank you.

I would feed them the Nutro kitten food until they are about a year old. Unless your vet says they are overweight I would give them as much food as they want.

I got the adult Nutro because they were getting chubby on kitten food.
Then I cut them back to the 1/3 twice a day because of that too.

Maybe I made a mistake. These are my first cats...

I need to subscribe to a good cat magazine.

My kitten is about 8-9 months old and eats Nutro Kitten food. He free feeds about 1/2 C per day and also has 1/4 of a 3 oz can of Nutro Kitten canned food in the am 1/4 can in before bed. He is also about 10 lbs.
