At my new desk I sit right under the heating vent, so I'm either sweating or freezing. Honestly, we can put a man on the moon, but we can't make it so a building is ONE temperature! Ugggg..

Why Oh why can't they heat the building?

I had the same rant with our building superviser last year, this year she had new boilers installed and it is perfect!
Ooo..right under the vent. That stinks. Is the ceiling low enough where you can get to the vent and change the amount of air you get?
I worked one place where I was right under the a/c...I FROZE!!! until I saw the vent closers. Then I was a lot better.

No there's a metal grate over the return.
