I was so hungover one day that I think it ruined my drinking forever! Whenever I see alcohol I feel sick!

No drinks for me!
You crack me up
/ The only time i've ever had a hangover was when I had Peppermint Schnapps....wow..and a hangover it was
/ I've had one other hangover other than that which i can recall, but i don't remember what i had that night.
I guess that's bad
/ But those are the only two i've ever had thankfully....i don't drink much at all now, so i don't have to worry about them

My drink is scotch -- Ballantine's most of the time; a single malt (Dalwhinney or Highland Park) for special occasions. Wine with dinner -- colour dependent on the meal. I've been through rum phases, and rye phases, and I still enjoy a Martini on occasion (the real thing, not the new designer concoctions that are served in martini glasses).

Have you ever tried Butterscotch Rum? It's really good.

That reminds me...I make a killer alcoholic punch using Andre's Cold Duck (it HAS to be the Cold Duck, since it is called Cold Duck Punch
Tried it once using Andre champagne, and it just wasn't the same.)

One large punch bowl
One bottle Cold Duck
One 2 litre bottle Ginger Ale (Dry preferred)
One quart Raspberry Sherbert
Sliced rings of Oranges, Lemons and Limes as a floating garnish

Pour Cold Duck into punch bowl. Then SLOWLY pour the Ginger Ale into the bowl. Once the fizzing has stopped, very carefully put the entire quart of raspberry sherbert into the bowl as well. Carefully, to avoid it fizzing up and over the sides. I usually rinse the bottom of the quart container in hot water, then slide it out into the bowl, so it is like a big floating sherbert island in the punch. Stir. Once most of the sherbert has melted, add citrus rings to float on the top, stir again and serve!

Be careful - it tastes SO good, it goes really, really fast!

For home gatherings like the candle parties I do, I always recommend having enough to make a second batch - I've never had more than a couple of cups full left over at the end of the evening.

Oh how I long for the days when I can once again imbibe with impugnity!!!

Hornsby's hard Cider - Granny Smith (knocks Woodchuck into a cocked hat, IMHO) for hot summer days
The perfect Beefeater martini, just a dash of vermouth, dry enough to take your breath away.
Crown & Coke or Jager Bombs when hangin' w/the fellas
the coup de gras? A very Dirty Martini, made w/Hendrick's gin - very spendy but oh, so worth it. (I actually have a 5th of Hendrick's in my fridge, that I bought two weeks b4 I found out I was pg - it's alllllll the way in the back, and waiting patiently for me to uncork it several months from now
)

Y'all are makin' my mouth water for a top-shelf cocktail that I CAN'T HAVE

I love margaritis from a mexican restaurant. The ones you make at home just aren't the same. Also, Woodchuck, any flavor and Coors Light. And Diet Coke and Malibu. And appletinis.

I don't like the taste of alcohol so I prefer drinks that don't taste like drinks!

I like pina coladas and strawberry daquiris a lot. Preferably weak.
