In the past couple of months, I have noticed that my cat has started to get a poochy belly.

I only feed him IAMS dry food weight loss control (we have another cat that is very fat). Occasionally I give him wet cat food, sliced turkey, and sometimes he will eat bread off my plate when I am not looking. He seems obsessed with bread, actually.

Anyways, I also play with him all the time and chase him up the stairs at least 5-10 times a day (we have a three story town home).

Is there anything I can do to prevent him from getting fat? His mom was skinny, but she was also an outdoor cat. He is exclusively indoor and was fixed about 2 years ago.

is the belly solid, like it has fat, or loose, like it's mostly skin? my girls all have a 'cat udder' aka 'spay sway' but on my younger 2 it's all skin, no fat/muscle in it at all. Pixel, my senior, fills hers out a bit more...
