my Hubby's best friend asked me to help him find a new kitten. He's been living alone for a little over a year now since he and his wife seperated (she took custody of their 3 cats). He's been lonesome for a new cat.

I took a trip last Tuesday to the League City animal shelter and found the most beautiful babies I've ever laid eyes on.

We went Saturday for him to adopt and he chose 2 babies.
1 Grey female ( 1lb-9oz) he named Shelby and 1 male (2lb -6oz) he named Sport. They guess they are around 7-8 weeks of age and we found the previous Saturday in a field with no mama present.

Sport has the most unusual markings I've ever seen. From each angle he looks like a totally different cat.
I was wondering what type of markings he actually has.

here's a few pics..

This was the entire litter

5 babies - 2 females and 3 males. You cannot see Sport in the pic.

and here is sweet little Shelby.
She is so sweet and wants to make biscuits and cuddle.

My husband fell in love with her and told our friend he wanted her and he could go get another kitty...LOL

Here's hubby holding Shelby

Baby kitties are just so darned cute

that's kinda what I was thinking too. It looks more like a marble than regular Tabby stripes. He is so quick too. He was having a ball running around the bedroom Saturday night.
Our friend also reports that they slept quietly all thru the night. And Shelby already found a way to get up on his bed and cuddled with him.

It funny because my husband is always saying NO MORE ANIMALS!!!!!
We already have 2 dogs and Topanga is now about 9 months old. I couldn't believe he seriously wanted to bring her home, I had to say no.

thanks, they were very unusual to me

Everyone that has seen a picture of him has commented on his markings.

I don't have much experience with cats. At the moment I have 2 female Cairn Terriers and a solid black cat we rescued from the engine compartment of a car at 5 weeks of age. I've only had 2 other cats before.
