Hi to all beautiful cats on the forum.
I am looking to buy some VERY HIGH QUALITY WET food for my darling, with human grade ingredients, no byproducts, no preservatives.
I need to buy from Europe only - what would such european brands be? Price does not matter.
Also, any suggestion of an European website where I can order from, would be greatly appreciated.
Peace.

I would try Zooplus, I can't think of most of the brands they stock offhand though

..for good suggestions, Booktiger and Urbantigers

I found both websites and foods you recommended. Almo looks pretty good, I think we are going to give it a try.

What's up with their dry food, Stefan? I assume you're talking about almo nature? I've never fed it as my cats get mostly wet and just a little bit of James Wellbeloved dry but I'm interested in why you think it's not good?

I am trying Bozita at the moment, here's what they have to say about themselves:
No soya
No grains
No preservatives
No artificial colourings
No meat meal
92% meat with jelly
The only additive is a Taurine supplement (essential for cats)
and a money back guarantee if your cat doesn't like it!!!!

- Which I won't be having to use, it went down a treat with Radar, he scoffed it up

Oh yes - Jaffa loves bozita! It's nice that its chunks in jelly and not pate style (like most of the premium foods) as Jaffa likes his chunks

No, it isnt Almo Nature.

Did tried to search a little. Specific seems to be produced by VetXX, a danish firm doing much into veterinary products. May be so, I saw our local veterinar has it.

And this should claryfy why Specific is so bad: it is probably a low-protein food for low protein-diet... And OK, this I understand. Even Hills Kidney Prescription (k/d ?) would be almost unsellable as food for healthy cats...

The interesting then, is why their wet food seems to be quite OK. It has some cellulose-proteins in it, but otherwise seems good and could surely compete in the open market in their own right.

There is also Animonda-range.

I think they should be OK.
their dry is low in fat. About 10% which is too low and the dry food cant be recommended as sole nutrition. But the ingrediens otherwise were pretty good as I remember.
Also their wet is better than the common shops-foods.

Ah right - I understand now
I've never heard of Specific.

Mine like Animonda too (had some this morning in fact!). Schessir is good too.

In addition to Almo, I'd recommend Schesir, as urbantigers did, Porta 21, or Cosma. Any of those 4 should be fed in conjunction with a high quality dry food, or you should feed a great many flavors, as the all meat/all fish foods don't always have great calcium/potassium ratios.
Bozita has a good reputation. If you have fish lovers, GreenFish from Italy is good. Ziwi Peak from New Zealand is available from some dealers.

Bozita from Sweden, made by the firm Doggy? Or is there another Bozita?

That's the one

I really like the ingredients and Radar likes the taste, I will definitely be getting more of it!

It's the same Bozita. Unfortunately, it's only available here (Germany) in large cans, which the kitties, Jamie in particular, don't like.

I discovered here in Sweden it seems to be sold as Mjau. Yes, Mjau has great opinion, especielly as it is a rather cheap food. Price in the class of Whiskas, but NOT in the quality...

In any case, it explains why I didnt knew anything about Bozita wetfood.
(I know they have dry food - not bad at all, but nothing exciting either).

Mjau here in Sweden is in two series:
one rather big cans, and one paper-tetrapack.

Try to ask to be their reseller for Germany for the Tetrapack-series...

I did a search, and found some Bozita in tetrapacks. Thanks for the tip!
