Those of you who see American Idol first- don't spoil it for those who wait

I so want Kelly to win!!! I hope she does!

I have no clue who won, because I could only watch the first half...the second half was on at the same time as BB3, and I couldn't tape it either, because my Fox channel is on my satellite.

Maybe someone could PM me and tell me who won. Or maybe it says in the other thread, I haven't looked yet. I hope Kelly won, too!!!!

I was so happy that Kelly won! I have to say, Justin was so gracious about it. I think he knew, judging from his reaction to the whole thing. Can you imagine going from cocktail waitress to having a recording and management contract? What a dream come true for her.

How do you think her career will go? I think if they market her properly she could do very well and not just be a flash in the pan.

RCA records has first refusal on all AI contestants. They have already picked up Tamyra and of course now Kelly. They haven't signed Justin but it's just a matter of time. They are going to be working the new single to all formats and radio has the song today. The plan is for them to start playing it ASAP. Of course they may have other ideas, they usually do.

I hope she keeps the essence of herself and that the industry won't corrupt her. I have liked her from the beginning. She won my heart the night she appeared after battling laryngitus and belted out her song for the evening. I got so tickled with her squeals of delight in her last song of the evening, but she still sang and then at the end when it finally sunk in her other friends came in and helped her finish the last chorus. She is a true champion!

American Idol was SO awesome! I am so glad that Kelly won. I thought that she sang the best and that she deserved to be the American Idol. Justin was so great in supporting her. I think he kinda knew for awhile that he probably wasn't going to win. I can't wait until American Idol 2!
