Last day with my kitties

Tomorrow I have to leave my kitties while I go home to Australia for 4-5 months.
I'm so sad I told Mister I was leaving but would come back, he turned around and hissed at me. He never hisses

I know my husband will take great care of them all, and they love him. I just hope they don't forget about me.

My sister has 5 cats & 2 dogs and I'm going to get a foster kitty so I won't be too lonely

Talk to them on the phone while you're gone, and make sure DH doesn't do all of the laundry with your scent on it while you are away, so that they have a shirt or sweater of yours to comfort them while you're away.

We went and got a speaker phone yesterday.

Aw, I would be heartbroken to miss trout for that long...I hope it goes by quick for you

They won't forget you. Although I now go back to the States every year, there was a time when I only visited every two years, and my parents' and sister's pets always recognized me. You're going to really miss them, though.

One of my sisters's cats sees me about once every 12-18 months and he remembers me!!
