I'm so pleased for the positive news of Maisie's progress
I hope she continues to fight and get on the mend with lots of rest

You can get some rest too - get that strength back up for Maisie's return

Continued thoughts and }}}VIBES{{{ to you all

After what you and Maisie have been though,
I understand why you feel relief that she is in a place that can give her the best chance to regain her health.

I'll be watching for your next update Jenny....
Hang in there...
we are with you.

I've been away from the computer for a few days and am just catching up. Jenny, let me add my prayers and healing vibes for Maisie and her foal, warm thoughts and love for you and Tartine. If wishing could make things happen, I would be beside you giving you a big hug and helping in whatever way I could.

Maisie is eating! I went to see her this morning, after being told there was no change overnight, and as soon as she saw me she perked up. Poor thing is tied up to a drip, but with a pile of hay in front of her and when I began to talk to her and brush her she began munching. I stayed an hour and she was eating all that time, with her ears up, so she was feeling happier. I shall go back tomorrow and do the same thing. At least it is a positive sign, though the vets are not committing themselves yet of course. Tartine is also attacking a large mound of hay in a very frosty field, and is OK.
