Has anyone used these? My mom was telling me that Hartz has some that I might be able to use on the tree to keep the kittens off.....Any experience with them?

Yes, and they are a joke!!!!
It's in a light purple can with a dark purple lid.It says Stay Off Training Aid on it with a pic of a Golden Retriever and a Tabby on the front.
I bought a can and used it to deture the kits from the furniture when they had the BAD ring worm outbreak. It was a waste of $$$!!! The cats got on the couch with the spray still damp.
I will NOT waste my money on it anymore.
BTW, I found something that has worked for us.In the automobile section at Wal-Mart they have a citrus disk like thing. It says it's for use in cars to take oders away.It is VERY strong lemon smell. The kits won't go near my tree now.

Ive never used them inside with my cats. But I do use it outside to keep cats outside of my yard. My Buddy has killed a few kitties that got into the yard so I started spraying the yard with these. I havnt seen a cat in my yard since. So Im hoping that it keeps working.

I'm thinking about putting this out too.

Also I'm thinking about using Boundary in the doorway between the front of the house and Lilys area and see if it keeps Nazumi out.

I tried the that too like you said, it didn't bother them. Someone also told me pine scented things they don't like....
didnt bother them. I tried the aluminum foil trick...Bo slept on it

I know Jake stayed away because of it all but he's not the one climbing the tree
But then again he hates the smell of nail polish and will bark at me when I'm painting my nails. All I'd have to do with him is sit a bottle under the tree and he wouldn't come withen a mile of the tree

I was thinking of using a squirt bottle to keep them out of it

I need to find something too. Unfortunately for me, mine go "undercover" tree climbing. I never ever see it, I never even see them near it. Everytime I check the living room they are just sitting on the chairs or couch like "look at us, we're being so good"
yeah right! Yet there always seems to be holes in the tree, ornaments off, flattened branches, etc. The whole gang works together incognito I think
. It's the same thing with the little one that brings me laundry all day. It's like magic. I go in my bedroom, come back out to the kitchen and "poof" - there's a shirt and pair of socks - not a cat to be found. They are way too good at being sneaky.
