Home being our US home....
We had an awesome time in Australia! Heron Island was simply amazing (photos still to come...), it was wonderful to catch up with the family, and see all of our friends, and it's great to be home.
I think the kitties missed us - Smudge certainly won't leave our sides, and she has grown so much in 2 weeks!!! She's being such a snuggler and I think we're going to have 3 kitties on our bed tonight
Exciting stuff from the last couple of weeks:
We had a surprise 30th party for DH so all the family and friendws could wish him happy birthday
Matthew McConaughey was on our flight from Sydney to LA - and he is even hotter in real life!!!!!
We stayed in the middle of nowhere at a friends farm last night (well the last night in Australia, which I guess can be considered last night...), and saw heaps of kangaroos, foxes, rabbits, wombats and other such creatures which was really nice!!
I found out today I passed my accounting subject for uni - WOOHOO!!!! I was really worried about it, but it's out of the way now. I haven't heard about my other subject, but I'm pretty confident with that one.
And I got the job I interviewed for just before we left for Australia!! So I'll be a Project Coordinator for Google and I start Monday! I'm soooooo excited!
