boy thats helpful to me cause I am not at all up to date on my toxic list. if anyone remember i allowed Stewie to eat some onion...yeah that was a bonehead move!

i saw some really pretty pointsettas at the Home Depot, they were white with a little touch of blue spraypaint and glitter all over. ahh just so pretty!!

However remember; and Easter is a long time off, but eating lilies will have your cat pushing up daisies. And there is NO controversary over this one.

I didn't know about the onion thing. I'll have to be more careful. Xenny likes to follow me around in the kitchen and is like a dog if I accidentally drop something. Thanks for the note on pointsettias!

Yes, lilies are very toxic to cats. Other holiday plants that ARE poisonous include mistletoe and holly. Pine needles and sap are also bad to ingest, they are toxic and the needles can cause damage to the digestive tract.

I haven't found that poinsettias are attractive to pets, but it's good to know that they aren't highly toxic. They seem to get plant lice fairly often, though.
