Front of my house:

Across the street, notice the driveways filled with snow:

Good grief!

We used to get snow when I was a kid, never that much though! I think we had about 1/2" two winters ago, I don't remember any snow last winter.

We did have a tornado in London yesterday though, loads of homes damaged and a few people injured. Not unheard of, but a fairly rare occurence to have one hit a built up area.

Yep. Definitely brings back some unpleasant memories of the late 1970s and December of 2004.

Nat? I wonder if Hope would volunteer to help you shovel...

My thoughts exactly...I just can't seem to figure out when to shovel...now, to get it over with? Or later so I can sit around now warm and cozy? What do you all think?

Ha, looks like Saskatchewan sent you there snow! We have about the same amount here. It's unreal! Most our snow came from 3 days of snowing non-stop. Driving was a nightmare because the day before it snowed, we had freezing rain.

Now the next weather eliment you should recieve from the west is the "deep freeze" where it's going to be
cold for the next week.

You might find it easier to do it in bits. Shovel some now so that when it does finish, you only have 1 foot to shovel as opposed to 3 feet at a time. Something I learned from the late 1970s.
