I was told by a friend that cats think they are taking care of us. Does anyone know how they view humans/if this is true?

Thanks!

I don't know for certain whether or not that's true but whenever I'm under the weather, Sadie always brings me her favorite toy to cheer me up!

I don't know if this is true but I have heard theories concerning cats who are allowed free access to the outdoors (not my cats!) and hunt...I've heard that when cats bring us a bird or rodent, they are either (a) trying to provide food for us, or (b) trying to teach us "useless" humans how to hunt.
