So.... I got my brothers name for Christmas this year (the youngest) he's 15. I asked him what he wanted... about 100 times so far this week
And I get the same answer.... "I don't care"

He's into everything - hunting, sports (he plays football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, track & field), music (he can seriously play any instrument he picks up!),.... so, inbetween all that, what in the world is something good to get a 15 year old who "doesn't care?"

HEEEELLLLPPPP!!!

Boys are so hard to shop for! My brother is 20. I usually get him a gift card to Best Buy because he is really into music and computers. If your brother is into sports, maybe he'd like a gift card to a sports store. Or you could try asking your parents for ideas for him (if you haven't already).

I asked my mom, and she said that she's having a hard time shopping for him too

My brother is 14 and he "doesn't care" either! I won't buy him any playstation games as I get these very wrong. Does your brother like to read? Mine is into a set of books called A Series of Unfortunate Events and I have been buying him them for birthdays and Christmases.

i do not know how much you want to spend but I think when my nephew was 16 (he is 18 now) I bought him an Under Armour mock turtleneck. They make lots of different items that he might wear (just don't buy white as mine is whilte and the cuffs get dirty really fast!!)

About $20ish, give or a take a few dollars - he told me he doesn't want any movies or anything like that. He's a pretty outgoing kid - he's never inside, always outside doing something.... I'm stuck

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Have you tried gifts.com? You answer some questions about the person you want to buy a gift for, and it comes up with a bunch of suggestions. It really helped me find gifts for my DH.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
what about a gift certificate to a place like Dick's sporting goods, or a Cabela's? My dad loves stuff like that, cause he can find something he wants there for $20 easily or put it towards something that costs more.

I put one of these in my husband's stocking every year. They cost $15-$18 (CDN) at House of Knives. You can probably get one for less in the U.S.

He could put it on his backpack or keychain. These are very, very cool flashlights! So tiny, but very powerful. The lights come in different colors for different uses. The tiny bright beam projects up to 30 feet, and can be seen a mile away (good for safety reasons). There is a steady on function, strobe, or off until you press the button.

We've given these as gifts a few times and they are always a hit.

Cheers, from

You could always donate to the local Humane Society back home in his name!
Like a 15 y/o would want that.....

I treat gift shopping like picking out a cat....I wlk through a store until I see something that I think they'll like. Maybe you could go shopping in Gander Mtn or Scheels?

You know what I'd do!?! I'd go out and buy some cheap hideous outfit or just something you know is totally not his style, and give him that. Then when he opens it and inside is thinking 'ew what the heck was she thinking!?!' you can watch with amusement for a bit and then pull out his 'real' gift! That ought to teach him to not at least give some ideas!

I'm all about buying people books and DVD's. That's usually what I get my brother, but if he doesn't want DVD's I don't know.

Gift cards often seem impersonal, but in this case one from a Sports Authority or Hibbett's Sports may just be your answer.

You could always go buy him a nice shirt from a cool teenage place like American Eagle or something. Boys don't get excited over clothes but they need them just the same.

Sometimes for my dad (he's also a member of the "I don't care club") I just go buy him a bunch of random things that I know he would like and use. Like those handwarmers that you rub together and put in your pockets when you're hunting, gloves, fishing lures, a scarf, a pocketknife, flashlight, etc...

Last year Justice got "I don't care" for Christmas (Boy, THAT was hard to wrap) and this year he's requested "It doesn't matter"..... I'm still looking on Ebay for it...seems they don't make many of them

I'd do a gift card
