I was going through my cell phone to delete some pics so I could store my new ring tone for x-mas, and I remembered my wall paper pic of LuckyGirl....it was the 1st pic I took of her once we were "home". You can see her eyes are as wide as quarters, and she looks scared and alert.....it took awhile for her to really open up to us.....and sometimes she still prefers her space. The quality is not very good, but I hope you enjoy a peek into my sweet little semi-feral girl that we found that week.

Thanks guys! She was so scared and fearless all at the same time....it was weird....she didn't want to be too close, but she didn't want us to leave the room either....and she was scared of everything, but would jump straight into the television to explore....little did I know she'd turn out to be the spoiled "diva" she is today....

yeah, Pam she still doesn't like to be held. She is fine being loved, but don't pick her up.... I mean, she has never hissed or bit, or scratched, but she will give you this "let go of me mommy" meow, that lets you know she doesnt' want to be picked up. She does tolerate me though, not happily....

and when I just have to pick her up and hug her, I always tell her, "I know you hate when momma picks you up, but I just love you so much I have to hug you every now & then, it's good for a kitty you know!"
