You got that right! I'm on a first name basis with 8 different vet clinics that have multiple vets, several shelters, and several no-kill shelters

Thankyou for all the wonderful prayers and vibes everyone. Kolar's little eye looks a little bit better today, I think the new meds (and all those wonderful vibes) are helping him
/ Little Ruger is still squinting a bit, but he hasn't changed since yesterday- i'm hoping he doesn't get it too. The other kittens are looking good!

Well, just a little update- Kolar's eye is still looking pretty aweful at the moment
I just put some more medicne on it, so i'm hoping it starts to heal up soon. I hate seeing my poor little man like this. / Thankfully though there is some good news- the other 4 don't have any eye issues (yet) so i'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way. If ya'll could keep my little Kolar in your prayers, i would really appreciate that. I talked to his vet tonight a bit (yeah, i have her cell #
- but it's ok- she called me to check on him) and she said that if he isn't responding much to the new medicine by next week, we'd try something else for him- so that's good news that the vet's checking up on him i suppose.
She's a very good vet./ (Tammy- i gave him lots of hugs and kisses for you)

Just wondering do they know what is wrong with his eye? I might have missed you saying. I hope he feels better soon!

Just a little update on Kolar's eyes...he could definitely use some more prayers and vibes at the moment. Both of his little eyes are looking bad. It has now spread from the bad eye to the good eye.
I just got off work a little while ago and when I had them out to give them their medicine and dinner, i noticed his other little eye is starting to look bad. I'm going to see if I can get him into the vet eithor tomorrow or wednesday, i don't want it to get any worse. The other four are still looking ok so far, so i'm just praying they don't get anything like Kolar has. If ya'll could keep this sweet little angel in your prayers this week, I would really appreciate it. He's just not feeling great. I just spoiled him a minute ago with some soft food and lots of attention. (lol, he loved that! - don't worry- they all 5 got some
).

Thankyou Jean- your vibes are really appreciated! I just tucked the kittens into bed and turned on their heating pad for them. I'm hoping little Kolar looks better tomorrow.

I'm so sorry the poor little guy isn't looking any better.

Just a thought, last January my Gracie had something wrong with one of her eyes...but for the life of me I can't remember what it was...anyway the more medication I put in the worse her eye looked and whatever it was went to her other eye.
I took her back to the Vet and he felt that she was allergic to the first medication, he changed it and that did the trick her eyes cleared up within a couple of days on the new stuff.

Here's hoping it's something as simple as that for Kolar and he'll be on the road to recovery very soon.

He has been on Terramycin and another new eye gel and is also on an oral antibiotic Clindidrops. He did ok with the Terramycin, but they wanted to put him on the new gel to see if he'd clear up better since he wasn't improving a lot. I'm not sure if it's an allergy or not (i honestly don't think it is...i just think he's really sick
) Hopefully the vet will come up with something new to try. Thankyou for the prayers...i'll update as soon as I find out what the vet plans to do.

I'm so sorry things haven't yet improved. You guys remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Molly (a feline flu survivor and thereafter a 'snuffler') had a terrible eye infection a few years ago, and it just took weeks to get her over it. Once it had cleared, she was still getting eye gook (but not from the infection) and the vet did surgery to try to re open her tear ducts which had scarred closed. She was able to clear one, the other duct couldn't be opened.

I don't know if that may be affected Kolar's progress, but it's worth bringing up with the vet, in case it is, or becomes, a factor.
