I laughed pretty hard at your post. (You enjoy releasing pathogens into the air? ). I was also deeply touched to learn that you cried on/ about Sept. 11th. (I still cry about it, especially now that tributes are being shown on t.v.)

I made a boo-boo in my biography post--your post made my boo-boo clear to me. I meant to say that I am spiritual in my unique, non-conformist sort of way. I believe there's a big difference between the words religion and spirituality; I should be more careful about misusing them. Ack!

Plasticine was born here in the UK, its kind of like Play-Doh, but is a bit harder to use. I dont know if you have heard of Morph and Wallace and Gromit over there? But its kind of what they are made from.

They used to have their own slot on Tony Hearts art show "Heartbeat" didn't they!?!? haha!! Talking of Morph, have you seen the Dulux advert?? The "you find the colour, we'll match it" one?? Theres three "morph like" people in a box in a school and a lady walks past and pulls one of their heads off!!! Its so funny... if you haven't seen it you should.... :LOL:

Yes! I love that advert! I like the way they mould his head back into shape, hes really funny!

I once sent a picture into Tony Hart, but it never got on the show. I was devasted for a year after that! LOL

Bod - yeah, the Dulux ad. That is SO funny. I only had play-doh as a tiny child and all I can remember about it was it's lovely smell. I think plasticine is harder and more durable, and far more maleable (my spellings going up the creek here). I used plasticine right up into art school, it's like a soft clay which is available in different colours.

Neesey - I know Wallace and Gromit has been shown in the States (Nick Park won an Oscar for one of them I think), but I don't think Morph has.

I LOVED Tony Hart, he inspired me to 'do' art. I always wanted to have one of my pictures in 'The Gallery'.

When I worked at B&O (about 3 years ago now), one of our agencies had an open day, and Tony Hart was the guest. He was doing caricatures, and I got him to do me a drawing of a 'good Persian' I have a signed picture now of a persian kitten with a halo!! I'll have to scan it and post it!

That is a real prize posession.
