I had a cat die of FIP in 1992. It was very heart breaking. Red had the dry form of FIP, he was the first cat I had to make the decision to set free from his suffering.

Again I am so sorry for your losses. If your cats did have FIP there was nothing you could have done to make them better.

I am so sorry for your loss...completely understand how painful the loss is.

I read your other post regarding the symptoms of your 2 cats and I lost 6 fosters in 1-week due to the exact symptoms you described. Unfortunately, I (nor the vet.) have a name for "IT"...only being called some sort of "super virus" that is deadly. I did have 1 foster tested for panluekopenia (distemper) and it was negative (thank-God)...also negative for FIP and FeLV...so...go figure?

Again, very sorry for the pain you must be going through...feel free to email privately.
